...ve to pay another tax when we sell the house which is referred to as plus valia payable to Oria town hall, this means tax on the value since my parents bought it,  we are baffled they bought the house 5 years ago and paid Euro 100,000 for it, I have contacted 4 estate agents near Oria and  they have all said it is worth Euro 100,000, I have been told this plus valia is a tax by the Oria town hall, based on the profit they have made on the house, given there will be no profit as the house will be sold for the price they paid how can they charge us this plus valia, at this rate we will have to pay about £30,000 for all the taxes and we are wondering if we should just stay in Oria.  Can anyone please give us advise
