...I have been told we must go to a notary who will check and register the deeds, what do we need to pay him?   The agent is very vague about all these costs but we must know exactly what we will need to pay?   Any help will be appreciated please, sorry I have to ask these questions and both agents are giving us different figures

... get your own independent person.  Many people have made the mistake of using the same solicitor as the vendor and have subsequently found to their cost that they can't adequately represent two sides of the same deal.
