...e following Mathews take down of the program and was mystified at what I saw as neither the content nor peoples bore any resemblance to those portrayed in Mathews, and others, comments.  If running a business and caring for animals makes you a bad person then I too am one.  I have recently had a post removed as admin thought it was ‘unfriendly’ how pray tell is the belittling of hard working Brits, by many of you commenting here, in any way shape or form ‘friendly’?

...m?  I did watch an episode and saw a Brit who owns a restaurant, primarily fish and chips, who has lived and worked in Spain for 17 years, a middle aged woman who along with a few other volunteers, run an animal charity, yet another business owner who runs a bar / restaurant who has just invested another Euro 80,000 in her business and yet another couple who also run a car, raising euro 10,000 for a local in need of medical help.  Each and every one obviously dreadful Brits, hardly surprising so many are ashamed to be British.

...their fellow countrymen look stupid. These programmes will be repeated and repeated and once filmed are there forever. 

I reckon some of the better posters on this forum will agree with me, but there's always the few who'll accept the few bob and think Hollywood will snap them up at some future date.

Please do us all a favour (even us Irish) and don't make a show of yourself or your friends and family.
