to be fair L181SKY most drivers would fail the written side of the test now whether it's in English or Spanish and as for the driving skills or lack of well enough said!  Hope you are having an enjoyable stay now you have got here safely after your adventure in Burgos.

To be honest, if you want to live in Spain, and many people on the TV shows you mention do, the Non-Lucrative visa is a viable option. The requirements are to demonstrate that you are financially sound and will not be a burden on the Spanish state. If you can't do either of these things then really, should you be looking to live in Spain at all?

I think you can have it in English anyway but sometimes it’s difficult to even understand the question lol.   Thank you ,yes apart from the horrible weather, thunder and lightening now again, and 10 houses broken into in El Pinar ,just over the hill from us,during the last bad storms last week, in the middle of the night!  Only got till June 11th to put up with it all lol. Wondering why We are even here.  I do the driving test often to practise and understand their rules, but only passed twice 🤦🏼‍♀️. allowed three wrong out of thirty .

I live in the UK and have a UK passport. I visited Lanzarote for 2 weeks in February. Passport not stamped on arrival or departure. Most people on the flights were British and we were are all waved through border control.

They scan your passport. The stamp is a pretty antiquated way of controlling entry into a country.

In Scandinavia it was done to keep the US tourists happy;-)

(Not Spain)

I traveled to Ireland, by boat recently, no scans or checks on passports at either end, so officially I have not been into an EU country at all.

I guess that if you do not have a stamp in your passport they cannot prove your 90 days?

Ireland is not part of Schengen it is in the common travel area with the UK and doesn’t count toward 90/180 so no stamps there.
