Mojacar down by the indalo hotel at the end of the playa...we have a holiday apartment there. We should have been there back in April for 2 weeks. We rent it out with an agent June to September. Hopefully we'll be back down in October but I'm not flying we'll drive again.

Yes it does make sense.
Its all about reducing 'R'. Yes, you have a long trip but hopefully you will be able to socially distance and avoid touching anything unnecessarily. Very difficult on your journey I know but less is better.
R is what all this is about. If we control R below 1 the virus will be minimised. That is the whole idea of quarantine. it doesn't necessarily stop you from contracting it but hopefully it will prevent you from passing it to others. Right now contrary to what people think this virus is NOT under control. It is far too wide spread and we do not have enough knowledge of it
Your trip has risk. My advice would be dont travel unless its absolutely essential for you. If it is essential then stay safe.

Excuse me. What’s the joke. The man is running the U.K. Not just advising. He is at every Sage meeting ,steering it no doubt ,which should be independent of the government . He has a son he now says has autism and has to be with people he is used to. So ok go the 250 miles but. DO NOT GO OUT FOR A DAY TRIP to a beauty spot and Spread what you know you’ve got. L181sky. Agree entirely. Since about 2 weeks before lockdown here in the UK, I’ve been in lockdown because it was obvious what the risks were. No social contact except my fiancée unless you count a ‘hallo, how are you?’ when doing essential shopping
Cummings? Made my blood boil. Absolute hypocrite.
I’m hoping to see Mojacar in September. We will see. Cancelled trips for April, May, June to July so far.
Some chap on FB forum posted a video of his bike ride on the paseo and one puts up sunrise photos each day. It will have to do for now.
But grrrrrr. Cummings has made it easier for those that can’t be bothe
