Proteccion civil on the beach
Did anyone else see lots of Civil Protection officers, cars and vans on Mojacar beach earlier today? They appeared to be looking out to sea, looking for something. Any ideas, and I also wondered what their role is?

I know a boat smuggling drugs in was intercepted off Mojacar a couple of days ago..... maybe they had wind of another one trying its luck?
Two bodies washed up, and looking for a third. So sad.
a child and a man in Marina de la Torre this morning and a woman on Vera beach not sure if connected. The sea was so rough yesterday. This morning in Garrucha we sat at Nautolos bar and watched as a small child on an inflatable was in the sea and went at least 20 yards down the sea shore as the parents sat on the sand on their mobile phones. This in the area where the ships go in and out of port, so dangerous and it must be very cold in the water.

So sad about the bodies .......But the bane of the modern life....mobile phones! I see parents walking along pushing children in pushchairs, never speaking to them... just on their phones, and giving their children toy ones to copy them! They push the prams and pushchairs out into the traffic while talking.... then only turn when there is a screech of brakes! As for inflatables with children on..... IF YOU CAN'T GO IN WITH THEM, them have a cord attached....and WATCH them! Moan over.....
