watching the builders that are working on the flats in our complex they don't seem to have any qualifications and spend their days undoing what they have already done and walking about on their mobile phones! As for the crane driver he has already had several near misses and one full on accident drop of a load.  They don't wear hard hats unless the boss is visiting and no high vis jackets either.  How they have not had an injury yet I don't know.  The previous crane driver chopped off some fingers when he caught them in the chain.  They are still working in August as they are way behind schedule on the build. 

Hi! Thanks for the info. I know from experience builders are required anywhere in the world but the industry does hold a lot of cowboys? I myself would wear my hard hat and I myself follow a simple rule do it once and do it right and do it safe! No one should be hurt and everyone should go home complete but with the job done! Hopefully I can make a difference in the way I work ! I’m so looking forward to getting out there.
