Hi Sewing Sue (I'm also a Sue and a quilt maker....!)
Regarding your post about Tai Chi classes. I don't know of any hereabouts however what may be of interest are the activities at Mojacar Sports Centre. This centre offers a wide range of classes including Yoga (which I teach there on Mondays and Fridays). I have a very friendly group of ladies and gents who attend and it would be lovely to see you both there. I am a fully qualified teacher of Yoga. I note you have started circuit training. I'd like to recommend to you a colleague, Ray Daniel. Ray is a fully qualified European Master Personal Trainer. He is experienced at working with people of all ages and levels of experience. He will come to your home to work with you if you wish. I can recommend Ray 100% without reservation - he's a fantastic trainer with an excellent reputation. If you would like any further details (contact numbers etc) please PM me. All the best, Sue.

Hi Sue
That is awesome, and to meet another quilter I’ll be able to ask you about all the best places to get fabrics and quilting accessories too. I will definitely be interested in joining a yoga 🧘♀️ class and the personal trainer sounds a fantastic option.... I’m not currently doing tai chi I did it about 25 years ago but fancied taking it back up in my retirement!
We haven’t yet decided where we are going to live yet in Spain? We are hoping to rent a park home for a year in Los Gallardos so we can check out the area and decide where we would like to live .... however we also have friends near Guardamar del sequera so not sure about that area.... all I do know is 136 weeks and counting down 👍🏻
Hi Sue, lovely to hear back from you. Firstly about the quilting - bring fabrics with you! The only quilt fabric shops are in the large cities lie Malaga, Madrid, Barcelona etc. There is very little outside of these areas, though there may be something in Alicante (I note you are considering Guadamar, which I know fairly well and is close enough to Alicante).
You also mentioned renting a park home in Los Gallardos - I presume you mean at Los Gallardos Camping, a large site in the area. I live nearby and teach Yoga in Mojacar at the local Sports Centre, about 10 minutes away by car. Once your plans have firmed up please get back in touch with me via this forum and I'm sure we can arrange for you to come over to the sports centre and give the Yoga classes a try out. The classes take place every Monday and Friday from 10-11. The group of people who come are various ages and levels of experience. They are very friendly and I always aim to make the lessons fun as well as interesting. So, when you are ready to "Get bendy with Sue" just let me know. I have a Facebook page with more details - it's called Sue Lewis Yoga. I look forward to seeing you over here soon. Best wishes, Sue. X

Sue I have just moved to camping Los Gallardos definitely interested in your yoga classes. Do you know of any Zumba classes in Turre? Nola
Hi Nola. I don't know of any Zumba classes in Turre I'm afraid but there may be some in Mojacar. If I hear of anything going I'll let you know. It would be lovely to see you at my Yoga classes. They take place every Monday and Friday from 11-12 at Mojacar Sports Centre up in the Pueblo. I have a really lovely group of Yoginis of all ages and levels of experience. Its a very friendly group and we'd be delighted if you come along to join us. Hope to see you there soon! PS. Being Easter week, the Friday class has been rescheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday but we revert to normal after the weekend. Best wishes, Sue.
