My Father was a Scot from the west coast and my mother English.  I did however manage to trace my Fathers decedents back to this chap - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Niall_of_the_Nine_Hostages

I do not however believe this will entitle me to an Irish Passport.

I think it only goes back to grandparents

Depending on the talent available for our national football team, it could soon extend to great-grandparents.

It appears Ryanair has started a huge media advertising campaign in Ireland targeting holidaymakers for Spain from 1st July. This must be good news.

Not too worried about this as Easyjet has very flights to/from Rep of Ireland. Ryanair is coming up in my estimation.

22nd .... you MIGHT get in because State of Alarm ends 21st, so travel between provinces should be allowed - but Spain did say not re-opening borders until 1st July, and not yet to British Nationals so...... keep checking.

Spain’s government announced today they will not open borders to any one coming in (unless Spanish citizen or a legal resident) until 1July. Portugal and France are opening their borders 22 June however. The U.K. starts its quarantine sanction for incoming flights on 8 June. How long for, remains to be seen.
