Hi,
Yes, because the cost of the funeral is not covered until you have paid all the premium. If you pass away after you take out the plan, but before you have paid all the premium, you still have to come up with the total cost before they will proceed with it. Also, you have to pay interest on the payments. This was as at three years ago which was why we decided not to go with them.
