Dario, you actually state in this post 'That as you have stated numerous times before'   Well dont you ever get tired of your own voice.!!!

I’ve stated it numerous times because people can’t seem to get it through their heads that the Empire no longer exists.

I briefly unblocked Stuart to see if he’d changed.  He hadn’t, hence the accolade of “numpty”.  Stuart has been caught out numerous times in various threads inventing stats and “facts” to suit his narrative, hence the reference to “fantasy land”.

I see Juliet is asking for benefits of Brexit, and without unblocking I’m willing to bet Stuart has played his other favourite “fantasy”  - “I’ve listed them already and won’t do so again” … you can’t list something that doesn’t exist.

There ARE no benefits of Brexit.  The ones claimed are things Britain already had - Sovereignty, Control of borders, freedom from EU rules - as has been explained by others, (and me) Britain was never obliged to take on those rules - and indeed helped draft a good deal of them anyway!  Others, like “blue passports” and “crown marks on pint glasses” are simply laughable as there is not and never has been EU regulations requiring removal of crown marks or specifying red passports - those are both things Britain chose to do and could have reversed at any time prior to Brexit

You’re moving to Scotland aren’t you Jenni? So within about 5 years you’ll be back in the EU when Scotland gains independence and rejoins the EU.  What are you going to do then?

What will I do then, the same as I do now, live, and make the best of the country I choose to live in.

Jenny, I have never said that before, so it just goes to show how manipulative Dario is to to extend Dario is obsession of hate for the UK and Brexit, seldom giving accurate information about anything he may disagree with. You just have to read his posts to see that. You can get that from his snipe about Scotland and how he writes "there ARE no benefits" as though shouting at you; implying "don't you get it stupid".

God only knows what happened to him in the UK to make him so full of hate, it must be something awful or maybe it's just arrogance and he can't abide anyone having a different view to him, like on Brexit. I can only imagine he wants Brexit to fail so that he can be right. You know the type!

The EU is a declining market and the most growth with3 times the population of the EU, is in the Commonwealth. That is the market the UK is targeting and with a fair degree of success too.

To give Dario his due, he does try to help people with information regarding Spanish law; though how accurate that is I don't know. Maybe he should stick to that, which people are grateful for.

Stuart, although Dario is a mind of information and willing gives people advice, which is great if all the info is correct, I dont know one way or the other, but there is a side to him, that is 'his way or no way' and he can get very aggressive and talk down to people should they dare to question or disagree with him.  So when he 'starts' on someone I take it all with a big bag of salt. So you dont have to justify anything to me. The fact they you and I agree has got right up his nose. I expect I will be in the next line of fire. have a nice day

I will miss Jenni when she returns to the UK forever. I'll watch out for her at any future protest at Aintree due to the Grand National.

Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr thats nice to know Matthew, the feeling is not mutual. but why do you think I wont be still on here??????? I wasn't aware you had to actually live in Spain to contribute. Many on here dont live in Spain as you dont, but you still contribute. As for protesting in person, to old for that now, all my protesting is online.

Well said Jenny and you have a nice day too.

I had no idea Dario had blocked me, but I guess his only reason simply demonstrates he doesn't like any form of critique.

I would be very interested to read the benefits that Brexit has brought to the UK. Could you please list them . Perhaps a persuasive and substantial list of benefits might enlighten me as to why Brexit was a good Idea for the majority of UK citizens, not just the wealthy trying to dodge European ...

I could state more but people will ignore them BUT here is juat 1

We do not have to pay millions into a body that is basically unelected to squander on vanity projects/propping up corrupt countries/and paying millions out with never having had any accounts signed off

Can you please direct me to one of those threads as I haven't seen any. I'm being serious though. All I can see are disadvantages and costs to the British public. The UK government could always get out of imposing EU regulations they didn't agree with just as all the other EU countries do. And ye...

...s, I know that tax evasion occurs everywhere but that doesn't make it right in the UK.

yes the gov could have not adopted some of the laws/rules,BUT sadly for many years we had Govs of BOTH colours that were infatuated with the EU dream and did not want to listen to the ordinary man in the street(of both political sides).

and it is a bit rich you and others saying about tax evasion in the UK,look a bit closer to home(Spain)tax evasion rife and corruption rife, far far worse that the UK

How many houses have been built ilegally in the UK,how many Brits in the UK have had their homes demolished

Leaving aside the nonsense about "basically unelected" (which we all know is just a brexit trope and completely and provably untrue), UK has admitted to owing a further 5 BILLION on top of what is already owed.

The "millions we were paying" argument doesn't hold up to scrutiny either - remember the "350.000.000 to the NHS when we leave the EU" lie?
So where is all this money that's being saved then? who is it going to?  Because it's certainly not the NHS.

I'm afraid, like all the other "benefits", this one is nothing more than smoke and mirrors.
