I don’t mind as long as it’s a good runner I’m coming to Spain on the 5th of June can I ask what make and model the car is?

Hi Naomi
My car is a RHD Ford Mondeo 2.0 Diesel with Automatic . 5 door. current ITV. I bought the car with 20,000 mile on it. Now after 16 years it has only done 120,000. I have it serviced every time the ITV is due. It is a very good runner, drives smoothly and is reliable. It is a car that I became attached to and will be sorry to part with it. Did I mention it is of course Spanish registered. There is no rust or accident damage BUT it is suffering from being in the sun. The paintwork is a metallic black and the sun has taken the lacquer of in parts. Let me know if it's of any interest to you. I would be looking to say goodbye to my trusty steed in June which may well fit in with your plans. Regards, Mike

Hi,
Often a good idea to bring the car you are happy with & prepared for driving RHD as apposed to LHD. Cost wise a number of factors to consider. Age of car & value are taken into account when 'importing/Spanish registering' a car . As you are applying for residencia it would be worth having a word with the solicitor/gestoria/ ??/whoever. A number of garages & car sales people also advertise the service. It is worth getting more than one quote !
