Hi This is first year in Almeria. Before in Valencia we were sent a reminder for Car tax. Now we understand car tax is paid on a set month with no reminder. Do we just go to Town Hall?, we are registered there.

this might help:
Albox Town Hall does not send out reminders to renew Car Tax, if you go to the Town hall with your previous Road Tax documents plus the rest of the paperwork relating to your vehicle (it may not be needed but you know what Spanish are like, all the papers when of suits).
You will need to supply the Town Hall with your Bank Name, and Banks IBAN no. and hey presto job done
