Hello.  Friends of ours bought a Spanish registered car in the uk.  They took it to Spain to be stopped by the Guardia.  There was €10000 debt on the car.  More than the car was worth.  Beware!!!!

100% be sure to check the car, all unpaid vehicle related fines and taxes will fall on you should it not be up to date.

ITV is also very important to check! 

Be very sure thta the car was not bought on finance, most finance companies will not allow the sale of the car without the finance being paid off.
