Hello everyone in the Vera, Garrucha, Mojacar, and surrounding areas. 

My neighbor has just told me about a new planned "open cast mine" in above area.

If this goes ahead it will have dire consequences for anybody living in the general area.

This needs to be stopped. This is going to add a lot more heavy trucks in and out of Garrucha.

You can sign a petition to see if it can be stopped before they get full planning go ahead.

Hello,

I am reviewing and renewing my car bits and pieces as it is some time since I got warning triangles and yellow jackets and all the other bits and pieces.

I have triangles and jackets but I need spare bulbs, alcohol testers for France, a new first aid kit and probably more but where to buy these things?

Even online it is a bit hit and miss and difficult to find accessories  for a new van - I need a bulb / fuse kit for my van. The van I bought from Salinas cars at Antas who have disappeared....

I am hoping that you have already solved these problems and maybe we can make a list of useful places as a result.

All information will be useful for all readers?

Hello everyone, does anyone of you know of a dentist open for urgent treatment over the Easter period please? I have fallen and misaligned my back tooth. Now I cant eat anything solid, only soups and anything sloppy.

Does anyone know what Hola Fibre is like in Valle Del Este, specifically Madreselva and do you get any TV channels from the hotel? TIA.

I went to the opening of a new Book Shop in Mojacar Pueblo (Calle de Enmedio 2 04638) called "Sunny with a chance of Books."  I thought it a very brave venture, considering the amount of books that are floating about in local charity shops.

But it did give me a chance to walk around parts of Mojacar Pueblo I had not explored. As I searched for the new book shop.

I love libraries and book shops. So it was right up my street. They plan to cater for all types of customers. And they also plan to promote local Authors.

As I belong to a Writers Group, called, The Written Word Group, and we do have some members that are in the process of writing a book, this was indeed good news.

I also enjoyed the muffins that where on offer on the day.

I am hoping to get my residence documents then go and buy a car. I am just wondering if the car documents  and insurance can be issued quickly as I have a plan to drive soon in Spain and abroad with the vehicle. 
Any good car dealers or places to look for a good cars and insurance companies will be much appreciated.
