Hello and good morning, i will introduce myself first. My name is Sandra and i am originally from The Netherlands but live for 13 years in Norway now. I have had a restaurant and a bakery together with my husband till he passed away last november. We have 5 grown kids and 1 grandchild. Our plans were to move to Spain and take it easy from this year but that has changed. So i want to make our plans come true. I am looking for quite a while now for apartments and came on the internet pass by Palomares and other places. But because Palomares looked quite calm and relaxing to me i looked further on the internet. And then, maybe stupid, i found the 'nucleair thingy' that is bothering me. Is no one else bothered about it... or am i just worried for nothing now. I have only been with my family at the Costa Brava for many many years... never looked more south actually. i have always worked my whole life so it is a bit strange now being at home for a while after my husband died. I am 58 years old (young..) and want to make something out of my life again. At the beginning it was difficult but now i realize i have to look further into the future ... Are there possibilities to start a cafe/bakery at Palomares with everything homemade, that is still my wish actually. Is there a possibility to make a living out of it or are there enough places allready. Because the population should be enough to living out of it. I hope someone will respond to this post and answer me back. I am just looking for some areas. My sister just moved to Moraira but i am open to other areas too. We are buying a place in Palomares as a second home is there an IKEA nearby so we can buy bedding and other essentials when we arrive next month? 

Hello folks. Coming back to Spain late May. Been away for 1.5yrs. My son had bought and registered my car in Palma de Mallorca but I now want to register it near me (Palomares). 
Also need a new ITV and insurance. 
All new to me 
Does anyone know where is the nearest ITV place near Palomares? 

Can anyone recommend an insurance? I had used a broker in Palma but want to get someone closer to Palomares (southern Spain). Do you know whether it’s possible to cancel an insurance after 6 months and get the unused time reimbursed? I live in New Zealand and can do it here. Crazy to pay insurance for 2 cars when each is only used 1/2 year.
Where can I go to register my car? Cuevas? Vera? Is it at the local council (ayuntamiento).

What do I need to do first? Is there a particular order I need to follow. If anyone knows a broker / consultant that might be good. But my Spanish is reasonably good now that I might do it myself but have no idea where to start. 
Any help/tip/advise would be highly appreciated. 
BTW I have a NIE and have a Schengen passport as I am German, so, this might be easier than for some other people? Not sure. Many thanks in advance
