Does anybody know anyone who deals with killing palm weevil? We have a palm being attacked and trying to save it is proving difficult. I also have 3 stumps I'd like removed from palms we couldn't save.

I’m trying to find out if I purchased a holiday let in Los Cerritos, would it fall under Oria police station as I have to supply guest info. Not sure at this point if they use the online guest reporting system, email or physically take the info in.

Myself and my mate Wayne are staying in my recently purchased house in Calle Norte, Oria. Are there any drinking holes that we can find some fellow Brits that stays open of an evening?

I also need some advise on boilers, gas and Internet 

I enrolled this week for this year at the Escuela de Adultos in Oria next to the Guadaloinfo/library. (Andres in there is very helpful.)

The teacher this year is Daniel and he speaks English too.

The lessons are on Thursdays and Fridays in the room upstairs from the gym that's by the football and the swimming pool starting on 21st Sept 2023. There are 3 terms up to end of June with a break over Christmas and Easter

Beginners lessons are on Fridays 9 30 - 11 00 or 12 30 - 14 00

Intermediates are on Thursdays 11 00 - 12 30 or 12 30 - 14 00 or Fridays at 11 00 - 12 30

Advanced are on Thursdays 9 30 - 11 00

The first week is always chaotic so just turn up at a time to suit you and see if there's room in that class, if there isn't he'll tell you when he can fit you in.

You'll need to fill in a form with name, address, tel number, NIE number, and email address, etc, to enroll. Bring some photo ID and a pen and paper.

It is quite a commitment to turn up every week and do homework but it is worth it in the end!

Looking for an English speaking roof tiler for a small job. I need the lower 20 or 30 roof tiles tweaking/rendering in los Almendros Urbanization asap (in order to resolve a couple of leaks on a single storey outhouse that has a wooden pérgola attached to it).

This pool heater is 3 or 4 years old and has been disconnected ready for transportation.

It cost €2500 new.

Collection only from near Oria and you may need a handyperson/plumber/electrician to reconnect it at your house.
