Hello All. I am quite sure this will be of benefit to ALL British Expats living and or working in Spain. The Almeria Living magazine - August 2020 Issue - page 3 - applying for a TIE Card. I am fully aware that the TIE card IS NOT REQUIRED if you already have a Green Residentia Card or paper with under 5 years or over 5 years old. The page gives NO assistance as to how you many apply for one on your own, unless you go through CAT Services ..... Can anyone just give an easy step-by-step guide to applying for the TIE card. Most of the websites are by “fee paying” gestors. Some say you take your application form to a “local” police station who has the authority to deal with TUe applications. Others say you have to go to Almeria. We all have enough time on our hands to do it ourselves, but yes, I appreciate that not All are computer literate. Even the suggested routes on the British Embassy info - the suggested direct connections to the respective Spanish Government bodies comes up with an Error Code !!!!!!
Hopefully this will create some useful and easy info and discussion for All to See and use.
IS IT POSSIBLE FOR THE ADMINISTRATORS TO SHARE THIS POST/REPLIES OVER ALL AREAS COVERED IN THIS FORUM AND NOT JUST ALMERIA.
Many thanks to those who may reply.
Stay Safe.
Do you needTravel and health insurance to enter Spain at the moment please.
