My front door  &side door locks are stiff, I think due to accumulated dust particles -- does anyone know of a locksmith who could travel there to service them ?

Hi there, I'm Melanie and my husband and I have recently purchased a town house in Seron (during lockdown) and are hoping to visit in the next few days to complete the exchange of keys!  We would like some insider info on the area and wondered if anyone could help.  How friendly are the locals to Brits - I wouldn't want to seem an outsider but want to blend in with everyone.  We are going to learn Spanish and eventually make Seron our home but will have to do the property up first.  Can anyone recommend a local secondhand furniture store (that delivers if possible)?  We would be grateful for any help.... we have absolutely nothing in the property at the moment :(

Looking for a good opticians in the area of Garrucha, Vera or mojacar.  Willing to travel further if necessary.  I would prefer an English speaking service, although my Spanish is OK for most day to day stuff.

I am a type 2 diabetic and rely on insulin 4 times a day to keep it under control.

my question is......how would i get the same insulin in Spain/Vera.?

we are considering relocating to Vera on a permanent basis but healthcare is an issue.......any advice is greatly appreciated

My wife and I recently visited and completed our purchase of a property on Atalaya urbanisation Mojacar.

Water is turned on and now awaiting connection of the Electrical power, I am an Electrician so will be completing the internal lighting myself, currently waiting for our next visit to complete furnishing.

Any tips and recommendations welcome.

Only been here in the Albox area for 4 weeks (in a nutshell came to Spain on a NLV) and have attempted today to try to change our UK licences over to Spanish and surprise surprise as we are now out of the EU another hurdle we need to tackle!!😡

Does anyone know or have experienced the same refusal to do so?  Being told the only way forward is to take a driving test out here and only have until the 31st June to do this!
