Been here since early 2017.  Plenty of opportunities for what you want in the Almería area.  Yes, you’ll need a car.  I would say there that unless you are excellent with cars, DO NOT but from a private seller, no matter how good the deal.  In Spain, if there are any fines ...

...or taxes outstanding, the buyer of the vehicle becomes responsible for them.

There are plenty of good garages around; they’ll service the car, ensure it has an ITV, that there are no embargo’s hanging over it and will register it with Tráfico for you, as well as give you a warranty.  You may end up spending a few hundred extra, but believe me it will be well worth the peace of mind

Hi am so busy flinching off my house just want to go to Spain ASAP now, yes I will be getting a car from a  garages thanks for the tip,

I will need to have an address 4weeks before I come out for all my paper work to go to i was thinking of maybe renting a caravan and putting my stuff in storage ,I think that might be the essay way and it will give me time to get bank account and everything done, need to look in to that.

You’ll find it difficult to actually get an address without being here to sign the lease, unless landlord happy to do it by email.
