Thank you. I was trying to be prepared. We collect the keys of our property in a couple of weeks and I only have a few days and I was trying to maximise the time.

if you have a car then the Chinese shops on the Vera to Garrucha road have a good choice.  Not sure in Vera town itself but they must have it in the one by Iceland shop at the bullring roundabout which is walking distance.

There are also bedding stalls in most of the markets.

Marks and Spencer deliver to Spain still.

There are towels and bedding in Ferreteria Lopez at Antas

Some at Me and Mrs Jones and abodes in mojacar.

Generally I find bedding harder to source in Spain but it might just be me.  Happy hunting

www.next.es

This is Next UK.  I recently placed an order and it arrived in 5 days to my mailing address here in Spain. And note below re import charges and taxes.

Home Delivery

Delivery lead times will be confirmed at checkout.

Great news, shipping is currently free for all orders over €50. Orders under €50 will be charged at €6 for shipping per order.

Additional delivery information

We’re sorry, shipping to an alternative address other than the account address is not possible. This includes a work address, PO Box or an address in another country.

Will I be charged customs fees?

You will be responsible for assuring that any products you order comply with state and federal government import regulations. Our terms of sale to our customers in Spain are delivery duty paid. That is to say, the amount paid by you is fully inclusive of delivery to the specified delivery address and all duties, taxes and customs clearance fees.

I should have added,  try www.lidl.es  I have just bought some good quality towels from them. If you need any other household items you may find them there also.

You can get alot of what you need in Lopez on the industrial estate in Antas which is very near Vera town.  Good selection,  probably better quality than chinese bazaars.

I agree about the choice of quilt and cushion covers in Spain, possibly because of different fashions and styles. Abodes is the best I have found. However, I have just bought a new quilt cover in the UK and arranged for cushion covers to be made that will all be in my luggage on our next trip!
