the difference is in the content on the shelves.  If you want UK products that are usually at Iceland in UK then this is one of the only places to get them but at their exchange rate which is higher.  all other goods that you can get in the Spanish supermarkets are generally better value in the local shops not Iceland.  Some people like to shop in one shop in one visit, I prefer to use Lidl and Mercadona for certain items and go to Iceland for the ready meals.  The butcher there is independent so is quite good value you pay at the counter.   for fruit and vege you can never beat the markets for value and freshness.

Yes it’s very near the market. Super Turre is on the main road in Turre.

To answer your question - yes, sort of.  There are some things that only Icelands stocks, but many other English items can be found at Super Turre and at MUCH more reasonable prices than Icelands

Hi Doris,

Super Turre is an interesting shop with plenty of english food to choose from.  There is a small supermarket opposite next to a second hand shop where you also can find lots of english food and the young man speaks excellent english and even calls you 'love'!

I agree with all previous comments and always found the butcher good at Iceland and always got a decent steak or joint there, whereas in Super Turre the butcher often doesn't have beef as it's not as popular as pork in southern Spain.  Iceland also has good packs of Cheddar, gammon steaks and bacon and for those items is better than Super Turre, and for frozen instant meals of course.
