Hi all

New to area, can anyone point me in the right direction for UK tv.

some say iptv and others say it’s illegal get a 2 metre dish.

on line you see such a variation in pricing, it’s mad.

i would just want sports films etc.

We have IPTV because we cannot have a dish. Just recently it's been shocking due to very poor internet speeds. We pay next for 15 and have been getting speeds as low as 2. I have rung them but not much improvement. So in view of this I would say if you've got room for a dish go with it.

Try PLUSNET FIBRE OPTEC . office in Turre main street.  Offers high speed if available at your address. Contact [email protected] or phone 744 610 389   website: www.plusnet.es

We have been happy with them supplying the more than adequate speed fo IPTV - they also provide the free to air/view channels  all for 29,5 € a month. IPTV service is also available from other providers , like GSF at Mojacar.

Good luck,

  (from  a happy customer)

We also use Next ,works quite well but adverse weather can cause a loss of signal occasionally.

Be careful when shopping for internet t.v. providers get fibre optic if in your area or make

sure you get decent speed, new t.v. boxes with a years subscription start around 180 euros

upto 375 euros I have had both and found there was virtually no difference in quality I have had

cheaper than the 180 but the after sales service was poor, the 180 was good all round

Hi all

Thx for all your replies. I have found an article on Olive Press which gave a company for expats all over the world.

Due to my location and set up my internet is to slow in the lounge, which is 30 metres from the router.

i have an extender but we all know you do not get the full router speed.

my only solution is to run a Cat5 cable from the router to the lounge, but my good lady is not having any of it.

Thanks again all for your help

Steve
