Can any one tell me anything about the two extraordinary buildings standing next to each other on the Carretta de Aguilas in Vera? One is a Court I believe and the other with very Gaudi-esque balconies and other features is ,I think, an... apartment block with a modern sports center below...how could that have been allowed? Arrrgh. I hope my spelling is correct.a.

Straight out of the door into the court next door..sigh.a
The one on the left is the law courts. The left one was originally fitted out as a bar but never opened. Now a gaming centre. No idea what is above it.

They are both fairly recent. About 10 years. The Ayuntamiento will have approved the building but who knows how helpful they will be.

I saw these too, and like you tried to find out the history. Nothing came up at all. At least I now know they are new and not authentic.
