We are looking at making an offer on s property. Everyone had their opinion. They say difficult to resale. Not a good place. I am not feeling that. Can anyone who lives there tell me how they find it.

Plus I have been told that there is a bus service during the summer.

Help x

Best to talk to people who live there.  We rented there and loved it.  Peaceful and stunning surroundings.  It also depends what you want in way of facilities.  We are all different.  Good luck in whatever you decide.

I lived there for 3 years, in Los Almendros, moving in 2021.  Valle Del Este has some lovely urbanizaciones, is very handy to the E15 and has a decent Centro Comercial with an English Sports Bar, a very Spanish restaurant, and a late-night bar.

The grounds are beautifully maintained by the grounds maintenace company employed, all gardens appear to have reticulation so the grass stays green year round.  It is a very very peaceful place to live, but a bit out of the way if you're not a golf fanatic.

It gets a bit noisy in the summer months when all the holiday home owners descend, but for 9 months of the year its a peaceful, tranquil oasis.  The only real issue I noted was how picky peole get about parking spaces.  We used to park right outside our apartment and again for 9 - 10 months of the year it was no problem ... then people would arrive and we'd find notes on the car saying "you're parking in my spot, move your car" - it didn't matter that the parking space in question was miles away from their apartment and there were plenty of other open spaces closer ... people tend to get a bit ... possessive... of the "assigned" parking space and lose the ability to think laterally.

We have had an apartment there for almost 20 years and love it. But it depends what you want. It is quiet and peaceful with a couple of bar restaurants that are open most days and evenings. There has been a high summer low key bus service in the last couple of years but in reality a car is essential.

We have an assigned parking space in a garage and as ours is nearest the lift door it was always being used by anyone who couldn't be bothered to walk or were just visiting!  So we got a locking bar and job solved as we pay for the garage space why should we have to use someone else's space because ours has been used by someone else.

Ours was outside and not even under cover, so it really didn't matter where anyone parked.
