For anyone wanting good mobile phone networks, Digimobil have announced that they have just activated their 5G network.  All that’s needed is one of their mobile plans (pre-paid or contract), a compatible device and to be in a 5G zone.

I have an iPhone 12 and two weeks ago, the 5G option wasn’t showing.  After reading their announcement, I checked my phone and sure as nuts, 5G option now available.  Selected, and now on 5G in Vera.

if you are an existing Digimobil mobile customer and you have a compatible device, it’s already automatically available to you - you don’t need to contact the network and ask them to switch anything on, just enable it in device settings.

Nope … but they should pay me commission 🤣🤣

Just had Digi in the shop, looking for the cuarto de comunicaciones - they are starting with the 10 Gb/s DigiPlus network now in Vera

I’ve been with Digi since 2017 - I’ve never had a rate change for the worse or a big (or even little, come to think of it …) price hike; what I *have* had is a continuously improved service and benefits.  T’was but 2 months back I received an SMS that said “congratulations, from now on you get 30GB data a month that rolls over, instead of 20 and you still pay 6€ a month”

Yeah.  Fair to say I like Digi

I’ve been using a sip trunking provider to keep my Spanish number active while still making cheap calls back to the UK over WiFi. Been reliable so far, especially now that 5G is up and running in some areas—call quality’s way better. Found it handy too when setting up the home office to manage both calls and internet on one connection.

As I have two phones and Fibre, I took advantage of their newest offer and now have Unlimited data, national AND international phone calls … for 6€ a month.  Just can’t beat that!
