For solar we would recommend Ecocorp Solar based at Antas industrial estate. English speaking and will arrange everything for you including a increase in your potencia. Best thing is there is no hard sell and the after service is second to none. They use a virtual battery system so no need for th...

Yes we also used Ecocorp on the Antas Estate..... family run business. We have 12 panels as do 3 of our neighbours from them. Brilliant! They have also installed our pool heater.... cools as well as heats....great!

We got the same system and a great level of support from Fontalmonzora for about €1500 less and they speak English

Ecocorp speak English....English family! Also their panels are made in Spain ... not China!  So any problems, faults etc. are sorted straight away. Also we should be supporting the local economy!

If we are supporting the local economy then does that exclude Spanish companies? I generally avoid British contractors because they seem to make prices up at times. I had quotes from two British joiners for a door at €850 and €2100 and had a Spanish company install a second hand door we bought for € 60 and they charged €160. The panels ecocorp quoted for us were Huawei 540 watt panels exactly the same specification as Fontalmonzora and Pedro at Fontalmonzora spoke excellent English and sorted the grid connection and the contract with Ibredrola and monitor our connection and let us know if there is a trip or issue

Having supported the local economy for the past 5 years I can assure you that there are good and bad from all walks of life and Nationalities.  As previously mentioned it is always best to obtain equivalent quotes before making a decision.  For an example, I had a Spanish company instal some guttering for us, the idea was to have the rain water run off into a holding tank, thus saving the precious rain water, only to find that once installed the guttering actually ran the wrong way.  Equally we have had an English company fit a new kitchen only to find they had installed the extractor fan round the wrong way and too far from the hob.  As I say, good and bad irrespective of Nationality.

That's what I said..... the local economy!!! Ecocorp is a company paying Spanish tax. But more importantly  their solar panels are made in SPAIN....I rest my point.... To me as a resident in Spain, I try as much as possible to use Spanish workers and Spanish produced items..... not always possible of course! As I understand it their app to watch your consumption is huawei.... but the panels are produced in Spain.

I bought my system through a Spanish owned company employing Spanish nationals and Spanish residents who pay Spanish tax - The Huawei panels are identical spec to the ones offered by Ecocorp - how do you get that they are built in Spain, have you any evidence? I really don't get your point! I bought an identical system for a lower price from a Spanish company or are you saying I should support the ex- pat community instead

I've read your threads - they imply you are the better person because you bought from an ex-pat company whilst I bought from a Spanish one -end of conversation

Nannie, do not waste your time on Jim the faux Irishman, he just loves to be difficult.  Hates most Brits  and blames Brexit on just about everything.  As I have said before, there are good and bad irrespective of nationality.  Ecocorp did a great job for me, and subsequently my neighbours.  I would not hesitate to recommend them.

I rest my case - https://m.murciatoday.com/ecocorp-solar-the-no-1-family_run-solar-installation-company-in-almeria-is-now-covering-camposol-and-mazarron_2145399-a.html

They have been installing panels for 16 plus years. They employ a mix of British and Spanish Nationals and obviously support both the local and National economy through the taxes that they pay, no doubt a great deal more tax than some of those commenting on this thread.
