The local agent, Vida Cabrera/Sierra Cabrera Living, no longer do holiday lets.  Are there any agents in particular I should be looking to, or where else should I be looking?

You will find properties to rent in Sierra Cabrera on VRBO, AirB&B and Simply Owners, but if you want to specifically use an agent try Blue Sea Villas in Mojacar, they also deal with rentals in Cabrera. Good luck :)

...operties had no fly screens. We constantly had flies landing on us and although my hubby is very tolerant, on this occasion he was pushed to the limit. I personally wouldn't contemplate being anywhere close to  water including golf courses (mosquitos  love me) or  orchards. Also, I have heard you should avoid goat/sheep/pig areas too! 

We are now rejecting  viewing any location that may have an issue regardless of how lovely the property looks. Just our perspective.... I'm sure others may beg to differ. 

However, I can see the benefit of a screen like you mentioned!

...t Preston..no flies. Apparently they do not like the movement of the air caused by the fan so stay away. Honestly, this does work. Hope this helps
