Hello Sierra Cabrera ….. Moving in over the Christmas period (Paul is en route as I type - bringing a car down). Property needs updating and we’ve got a few contacts but we’re looking for a true Moorish theme. Can any of you let us know of where to shop for this style of furniture and decor (and don’t say Morocco) 😆, although it’s an option. Thanks in advance. Lisa

Hi

Kazbah on Mojacar Playa has a lot of soft furnishings & lights, etc or the village of Nijar which although a little further afield has lots of shops selling Moroccan items.

Hi Lisa - congratulations - where did you buy? We're hoping to buy shortly! There is a great little interior shop in Mojacar pueblo - just off Plaza Nueva - unfortunately I can't remember the name, but they have lots of nice pieces, lights, rugs, decorative stuff. Lot's of stylish modern bits. Have a hunt around and I am sure you will find it!

Thank you all for your help. We’ve bought one of the Alcazabar properties. 😊

Oh lovely - the Alcazabar pool is gorgeous - we were swimming in it in September! Hope to see you soon!

Let’s just see if we manage to secure the property first ….. then just need help with basic stuff, ie : ‘taxiing from airport (anyone local), gardeners, vets, maintenance, decorators, etc. 😊

Hi we are in process of moving to area also. Regarding taxis we couldn’t find a lot of info for town we are buying in. If you do buy a car though you can buy an annual car park pass for airports. It’s about €400 and you can use as much as you like

Do you have a contact number or website so we can apply for the annual permit for Almeria Airport parking? It looks like you can also get a permit for Alicante which we’ll have to fly into during the winter months. Thanks in advance. Lisa
