If you shower at the end of every day during mozzie season it should help. They are attracted to sweat and also many perfumes and bright colours. Overweight people often seem to get bitten more probably because they tend to sweat more and mozzies seem to be attracted like magnets to people who tight clothes or wear socks worn with sandals!
Certain medicines may make your blood attract more unsect bites. My sister never used to be bothered by mosquitos when young but now takes thyroxine and has some very nasty reactions to insect bites.
Try taking garlic tablets and Avon Skin So Soft body oil, according to some people, is supposed to be a deterrent too, although I have never tried it.

Hi all, new to San Juan and finding the mosquitos a real problem. Has anyone got any tips/advice apart from keep spraying repellant tonight I have a total of 10 flippin bites 🙈🙈
Hi there,
I found the best thing for me is putting either tea tree oil or peppermint oil into suncream keeps them away just 10 drops, into the cream rub it on. My Grandson was bitten quiet badly I tried everything this was what worked.

I would also look for the source of the problem. Usually stagnant water in buckets, flower pots etc.
