Just wondering if anyone uses Amazon es for deliveries to their Spanish properties. I may be looking to get some garden furniture delivered in the new year and was wondering how straight forward it is. Better range in Amazon than some of the Spanish stores with better prices...cheers

Have used and some goods were delivered by courier but had to go to Vera to collect as we were out when attempted delivery made. Some goods delivered by Correos (Post Office) this is ok if the address you live in is registered with Correos. Ours isn't so we had to collect from the Correos office in Pulpi.
Amazon are also now offering Click and Collect but currently I think the nearest collection point is Correos office at Pulpi. From memory I think this office is only open from 08.30 until 2.30 pm weekdays.

Most Correos only open till 2.30, in Urcal our village the post comes early afternoon but if youre out and only get the attempted delivery note it's all nigh impossible to get into town before the office shuts lol.
Friend has had Amazon stuff delivered and you can designate a delivery point and wait there if they give you any kind of heads up as to what time they'll deliver, otherwise it most likely will go to the closest town that deals with the mail companies like DHL etc.

We use the Ideal English supermarket but we're in Urcal and the Ideal is in Huercal Overa, not close to you but gives you an idea how to go about things.
Doubt you'll get anything delivered direct.

Yes, we have used Amazon for years and the service by the carriers is excellent. We're now on first name terms with the drivers, who text a time frame for deliveries to our park home.

We have used Amazon.es for lots of items including furniture. No problems. Also we have to show our NIE number to the delivery driver (not just Amazon)

I would think so. I have to say that the largest parcels I have received have been a desk and office chair, and a huge television, but others have said that they do. The main delivery company here is Seur and the drivers and I are on first name terms! You are required to sign a document or an electronic machine and give your passport or NIE number, but the drivers don't even ask me for that any more.
I think you will be happy with their service and, in the event that you're not, Amazon have a really helpful chat link and an adviser will sort out your problems.
Best of luck.

Hi, apologies for any unintended misinformation.
How would potential newbies or non residents without nie's go about using parcel services such a SEUR ?
