I know many people in Palomares already have fibre optic internet facilities, however, down here in Palomares Bajo we are still reliant on the ADSL mast and mini satellite receiver, which is pretty diabolical.

Has anyone any info as to if, and when lower Palomares is to be upgraded to fibre optic. We have contacted Acaciaphone (Airnet) who seem to be the installers of the infrastructure, and they can not give us an answer.

There are many people within this area, that would hugely benefit from the increased speeds and reliability that fibre provides, and it seems ludicrous that this VERY low signal area, has not yet been upgraded as a priority.

TIA

You may be better checking with Telefonica if Fibre optic is coming, as they are the national carrier responsible and both Movistar and Digi use Telefonica lines.

And if Telefonica has lines, go Digi, NOT Movistar - Digi have a hugely better service and much much better pricing structure

Update

Fibre optic cables are now been installed by Wibre optical in Palomares Bajo... and should be live by christmas for connection from your chosen supplier. 👍🏻
