Is there any tech clever person that can help with setting up a sound bar please. Got it up and running but volume isn't great.

Many thanks.

Sound on tv maybe set low.  Use original tv remote and go into menu.  Go into sound sub-menu and turn it up high. Exit menu, Return to normal Tv settings and see if that works.

Thanks for this tried it but it didn't work. Got a horrible feeling I've got to buy a couple of speakers to go with it. It's a Sonos so automatically woks with my TV remote. Thanks again

Check your ‘sound out’ settings on your tv. It could be it’s set to ‘internal speaker’. You could  also have an ‘optic cable’ also.

Try using the remote that came with the sound stick in case it’s conflicting with the tv remote.

Good luck

Is it a Beam? Has your tv got an ARC setting on the sound? How have you got it connected...HDMI or IR?

Thanks for your reply if I take it off internal speaker I get no sound. There's no remote with the sound bar control is via an app on phone.

It's on optic cable as no HDMI.

Thanks for your reply I have no idea what beam is or arc. Not proud of it but I'm a long way from knowing what the abreviations are. It's connected via an optical cable no other choice

Sounds like there is a problem with the App you’re using, or a fault with the optic cable.

Suggest checking it out on You Tube as there may be videos for fault finding on there.

Hi

I'm guessing you have the Sonos Beam...yes?

You need to download the Sonos App, with which you can control the sound

Is your tv smart?

Do you have a Firestick? The remote will also operate the Beam..

Thanks, I'll get another optic cable to see if that helps.
