Hello - any advice on where to go to purchase household items in the surrounding area - hoover- bedding - iron - quilt. I think you get the idea. Something like a IKEA, ASDA or a B&Q would be perfect. Ideally, everything under one roof.

Thanks in advance. 🙏

Nothing like that in albox, but you can get everything there.

Hyperochio has all your electric item,  this is near the roundabout with the fire engine on it, as is another electric shop for frige, washing machine etc.  A little bit further along the same road is Sleep tight for all your bedding etc.  They are near one another so not much running around.

Thanks for the info - I will try them both out. 🙏

Not chic sleek and modern like Ikea, but there is a big warehouse ,  selling general household goods at Antas - wiggle under the motorway towards Vera, it is in a big industrial complex on the left and it is first on the right.  It sells pots pans lights curtains barbecues, TV's - just about anything.  In England that sort of place has bargain prices this is not so here, but it is handy if you want to set yourself up quickly   There is a large and good nursery (plants not children) just opposite.

The Attic at Cucador has an ever changing collection of used goods, beds in excellent condition, furniture, china, DVD's. Fun to visit and there is an unconnected ( I think) very good restaurant  with lovely views on the buiding above.

As well as the other places, Lorca has a good selection of shops and a shopping centre. The shopping centre has a couple of really good household shops including Jysk, there's a big electronics shop and a very large Carrefour supermarket with homewares. Also a cinema. For Ikea you are looking at Murcia they do deliver to Oria.

The delivery price from IKEA is very expensive so check before you agree to have them delivered.  We bought 400 euros worth of goods and they wanted 400 euros to deliver to Oria. With difficulty we managed to get everything in our car.
