If you look back at past messaged you will see many conversations on living in Oria.  I have had a house here since 2005 and lived here since 2011.  Crime rate is unbelievable low, children walk around the village 11/12 at night with no worries.  We have everything in the village you need including a 24hour medical centre.  My water bill is approx 35 euros for 3 months depending on how much I water the garden, electric varies with companies and how you use it.  My last two bills have been 67 euros because I have had aircon on of a night.  I find I only need the air con for July and August.  Please private message me if you need in-depth info.

Thank you for your answers... I really will take everything on board you have said. We retire in 3 years and plan to relocate in a rural area. We have seen such beautiful places for sale but keep coming back to Oria. We are still in the planning stage and doing our homework before we take the plunge.

I live in the campo just outside Oria, and I never lock my door. Lovely place to live.
