Hi,

We have received our S1 forms and are wondering where to 'register' before we can go to the Doctors Surgery to register there.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, Jean & Phil

I registered in albox medical centre but that was many years ago.  If you do not get a response on the forum phone CATS on 950 63 43 88 I am sure they could help.

You can register them on line.  In person it's the INSS office in Huercal Overa.  The posh looking building on the same side as the old Lidl but over the roundabout towards town.  The were insisting on pre-booked post covid appts but I'm not sure if they still are.  Oh and you will need to speak/understand Spanish or have someone who does. (Or you could try to wing it with the sayhi app)

If you use that link it should take you to the INSS site.  Then you should be able to request an appointment

We used C A T S.  Doesn't cost much and saves all the hassle or did for us.

Hi we tried to regain Oria last week, told to go to

Albox with an interpreter, told S1 is not registered properly. So went to CATS they informed us that you need your TIE card first ! So they are sorting it out quite reasonable and no hassle. Make sure you have an in date EHiCK card just in case you need repeat prescriptions of the doctor in meantime, yet again CATS will register it at get your appointment.

Jenny translator in rambla de Oria is very good and not expensive, also good for the medical centre.  Private message me if you want her phone number.
