I have had some work done at my house and the tiles on the front terrace have a grey residue that I cannot remove. I have tried everything I can think of. Could anyone help with some suggestions that might clean the tiles back to their normal colour.

Agua fuerte is the only thing that will shift it.
Dilute a bottle in water, or half if a small area and mop the terrace and then do the same the next day. 2 goes should do it.

Thank you very much, I have tried that but I did not use the full bottle. I will buy some and try what you suggest.

Have you tried cola doesnt have to be coca cola a cheapy will do,but you will need to do it when the sun has gone down

If its cement or tile adhesive residue I use a green scotchbrite and plenty of elbow grease that normally shifts it.

It is cement, but I will try the green scotch rite.

Use dilute agua fuerte at your peril. You will end up re grouting, it's evil on grout. Amazon have a specific remover which is not acid based. Try ferretería López you could find something there, not acid based.

This is something I did not know but I cannot find the name of anything that may help.
