This is the weed killer you can get at the garden centre in oria.  Do not put down when rain is due, sun is best and not windy.  Do not let your dogs near the area until it is dry and make sure they do not eat the sprayed weeds.

Excellent thank you so much

There is a DIY weed killer that's effective:-

1. Collect every used cigarette you can get your hands on. If many are of the untipped kind, then all the better. Some bars/restaurants in Spain will gladly supply their swept up used fags.

2. Place all the cigarette butts (likely 100's or 1000's) in a bucket.

3. Then fill the bucket with water and cover. Cling film will do. (Keep bucket of butts away from children). Stir daily.

4. After about 10 days the contents of the bucket will act as a terrific weed killer.

I find myself very much in tune with Jenni’s thoughts here.  For what it’s worth, here are some tutorials on how to make your own safe, organic and natural weed killers that won’t endanger pets, other plant or insect life.

If you use a paintbrush to pain on some of the liquid from the "fag" bucket to the top of the clay around your flowerbeds, the flowerbeds won't be soiled by feral or domestic cats. Just a tip I thought I'd pass on. It doesn't appear to damage the cats where they just sniff and move on. Now if only I could get something to do the same to the owners of animals who fail to clean up after them . . .

Hi all

Well I’ve passed all this to my husband as he asked me to post it. And he’s going to give it a go.

So thank you for all the good tips
