Dog Sitter Required

Hi Jenni, don’t know if you’ve seen this latest new about animal protection. Not a solution to your problem but a heads up.

New Animal Welfare Law for Spain's Andalucia prohibits keeping more than five pets. There are currently 2.56 million pets registered in Andalucia. THE new Animal Welfare Law, pending on final approval by the Junta, will lay down rules to provide greater protection to dogs, cats, ferrets and other pets in the region.

Thanks Jack, well I shall be on the first boat home then with all of them. I  have read the new animal welfare laws and have not read any of this. In Valencia where we moved from, this 5 pets law was for urban and village situations, not if you lived on the campo.

Hi jenni, check into this as I was told you needed a license for over five dogs.  Check with Rianne in the village she should have the correct info.  There is a dog sitter in it is village I will private message you

No Ednab, I dont need a license we have checked with the town hall, and the Garda, as long as the dogs are fully vaccinated, and they are not on the dangerous dog list we live on the campo and we and the dogs are fully legal. The 5 rule applies if you live in the village.

Last time I put anything on this forum, people love to give advice when it is not asked for, I asked for a dog sitter, not advice on keeping dogs. I know the law and I abide by it. So anyone else out there with any free advice regarding my dogs, stick it. where they sun doesnt' shine

Is it me or do I think it's very strange that someone wants 10 dogs I think the law should be a max of 3 only  unless a licenced breeder ,
