Language barrier?  Spanish isn’t a barrier - it’s the official language of the country :-D (well, one of them - sadly English isn’t included in the list)

It’s very unfair to say that Spanish Builders “have a tendency to go off the job” - that’s a gross and inaccurate generalization, obviously fed to you by someone extremely xenophobic.  There are some excellent Spanish builders - just as there are, unfortunately, some absolute cowboy English builders … don’t go thinking an ability to converse in the same language is your guarantee of superior workmanship … you may find the contrary to your cost.

Thanks for your email , in relation to my comments regarding builders etc.

This is what I have been told and have highlighted this on the Forum for answers, which I thank you for, as I did not believe , but I am aware that it may  happen.

In terms of the language barrier, I am the barrier as I don't speak Spanish and will learn this.
