Hi,

Can anyone recommend restaurants that cater for gluten free eating, or supermarkets that stock gluten free foods please?

Thanks

Mercadona stock a lot of gluten free products, if not all. I know that they were working towards all their products being gluten free.

Also a lot of the restaurants offer gluten free, you just mention it upon arrival or when you make the reservation. They are always accomodating.

Hope this helps

Also consum and Lidl. If you go to the shopping centre at Lorca where the cinema is the supermarket has a great selection. Happy Garden Chinese at Albox will cook gluten free if you ask and if you like a good menu del dial then Los Lucas ( see Facebook ) for details. Just email them a few days before and the will do anything on the menu gluten free. Lastly Bella Vista on the front at Majacar have a great menu and they do the bread as well just ask. As someone said ask you will be surprised at the great response. Lastly nearly forgot, I go into consum buy a frozen bagget take it over the road to the latter bar and they will use it to provide great tapas plus gluten free beer, I like it he wine better. Hope that help but have other cooking tips if you contact us through the forum.
