We didn't find it expensive when we have done it.

It was a suggestion for Lisa as another option not sure why we are all getting het up about a simple suggestion.

Nobody is getting het up.  This is a booking I tried to make this year so it's up to date.  Anyway It would be better for them to fly to Alicante or even Malaga where there are plenty of charter flights.

Hi Lisa

We are in the same boat as you, as we live in York. We are going to our holiday home in Feb, but because Ryan air have pulled out of EMA to Murcia, we are flying into Alicante from Leeds. We are hiring a car, but are now seriously thinking of buying a car and leaving it at the airport with Seguro.

Regards Liz

Hi Liz

It's certainly worth thinking about and probably what we will do long term if we decide to buy in Mojacar.  In the mean time at least becoming a member of this forum has given us a few contacts should we ever get stuck, I like to have lots of options and explore all avenues before I take the plunge!

Thanks to everyone for all your responses.

Lisa
