Driving from UK to Spain - Page 3

Hi, We did the journey last year with our dog! The tunnel is brilliant and cheaper. It is a long journey.. We stayed in south of France which took 17 hours on toll roads with stops for water breaks.

We then headed to Spain but again stopped half way outside Madrid. I think if you only do one stop you will be exhausted... Good Luck !

Just as a matter of interest how much did it cost you for the tunnel the fuel the tolls and hotel stays until you got to your destination ?

Did it ffrom Le Havre last year.

One night on Ferry, one night in France , onr night in spain, arrived Palomares Lunch time next day.

Had two dogs with us in Pet friendly cabin.

If driving through france always go down West coast  side.God roads, little traffic.

Then Pamplona, Zaragoza, Valencia across Spain.

If use Spain Ferry, go Burgos, Madrid, Albacete, Elche hen down

Booked Pet cabin in May this tear and had to cancel, Booked kenels for this September and cancelled again now rebooked for May 21.
