...g problems myself mostly because my cats leave little crumbs if food around. The only effective thing I have done is clean, vacuum, scrub repeatedly. I agree they're annoying but just a consequence of living here with this wonderful clinate. Personally I'll choose ants over UK any day!

Kitchen cabinets are the problem...otherwise run a bead of clear silicone around the join between the floor and the skirting tiles, not forgetting the door frame joints...worked for me!

oh defo had a problem with them but it's no good fretting as they soon find another way in and we had them in our 11th floor flat in the lounge, kitchen and bedrooms.  But so far this year they have gone away fingers crossed.   Strangely we never had a problem in our villa.
