Does anybody know when these Ryanair flights will be announced? And how many flights per week?

This route is an option for people wanting to fly to LBA,  flying LEI - DUB - LBA with a 7 hour wait in Dublin transit lounge in either direction, the DUB - LBA leg is so cheap as a rule it's preferable to travelling to AGP by ALSA which takes getting on for 7 hours counting getting to Almeria then 3 on the bus. I hope Ryanair timings in 2024 are like they were in 2023.

Thats a very useful useful website but it does not answer the question raised by Matthew. Ryanair have not yet loaded their summer direct flights for Dublin-Almeria. The last few years they were also very late in doing so hopefully it will happen in a few weeks. But it is also likely they are gauging the demand for Murcia or playing cat and mouse with Aena/Almeria over landing fees.  A worse case scenario may be that they appear to have increased the flight frequency to Malaga a very lucrative route ,in the mid-day/afternoons possibly at the expense of Almeria. Or possibly due to DAA pressure to cut back on the night flights to other destinations , those routes have been scheduled earlier in the day again at expense of the seasonal Almeria route.  Lets hope not !  From an Ireland point of view , Mojacar has always been relatively difficult to access, with complete reliance on Ryanair for direct flights and the one (excellent) shuttle bus service, and uncompetitive car hire prices at Almeria and Murcia due to lack of competition.  As a frequent visitor to Mojacar 4-5 times a year needing car hire, I have found it more convenient with better flight choice, and cheaper to drive from Malaga . The motorway is about 50 mins longer than to Alicante but does not have the same amount of head-wrecking heavy lorries as the A7 to Alicante.

Ryanair are without doubt the worst of the worst budget airline, but much as it pains me to give that poisoned dwarf O'Leary any of my hard earned he has a lot of the routes and most flights, so sometimes you have no option. I've never had an airline mess about so much with the scheduled times/days without the slightest thought to the customer. Flight booked for evening flight for Sunday 14th April, Alicante to Birmingham, swapped to Monday 15th April at 06.25 in the morning, no notice, only found out as I was checking another flight I'd booked. How's that supposed to work? Leave Arboleas at 02.00hr and lose a days work? Total shit show.

Hi Copper Beach,

You could consider what I have often looked at but never really needed, fly DUB to LBA early morning 7am, then you can use Jet2 LBA to LEI Saturday around 4pm. Alternatively DUB to Man then MAN to LEI may give a workable flight program? Worth a look maybe?

Best wishes

Roland

Thanks for that LBA suggestion Roland but if Dub-LEI direct not available , then Dub-RMU Murcia would prob be next easiest option.

Hello All, I was looking into the flights from Ryanair to Almeria and I see as of yesterday 18th Jan 2024 that Ryanair have removed Almeria from their list of airports so no flights from Ryanair into Almeria for the foreseeable future.

It is probaly due to the fact that Boing are way behind on supplying over 60 aircraft to Ryanair which should have been in service by now !!!!!.

Regards

Bad news for Irish customers. I wonder if it will boost the usual Jet2 LBA - LEI  Saturday afternoon/evening flight?
