Easter in Mojacar.

Hello, does anyone know if there are any fiestas or events going on in Mojacar for Easter that we can go to? Thankyou.

Easter is a religious festival here rather than a fiesta, lots of events during the week, starting today with a procession of the Donkey but all the events centre around the Parish Church, and are on www.mojacar.es and posted by the Ayuntamiento. Unlike us in the UK Easter Monday doesn't seem to figure in the celebrations but Thursday 29th is celebrated more and you may find shops closed, etc. You may already know that there is a little Tourist office tucked behind the new square in the Pueblo and they will give you a newsletter about future events e.g. Moors and Christians in June and other special events.
