as people have stated the padron is what is requited. when we asked our town hall what length was required they said it did not matter as long as we had the necessary paperwork. or information ours was 6 months.

France just announced a national lock down from tomorrow until at least December 1st.
Hoping Spain doesn't do the same and lock me out before I get in.

We only have 6 month rental but have already got our Paddington on the back of this. Do we need a 12 mo th rental for residencia even tho we have our Padron?

Simple answer. No. Once you have your Certificado de Empadronamiento, that is all you require for Residencia as far as proof of residence goes
