as people have stated the padron is what is requited. when we asked our town hall what length was required they said it did not matter as long as we had the necessary paperwork. or information ours was 6 months.

Hi everyone

Thanks for all those posts and so I should manage this I think !

France just announced a national lock down from tomorrow until at least December 1st.

Hoping Spain doesn't do the same and lock me out before I get in.

I hope so too but the Andalucia region has closed its borders.

Junta de Andalucia.

At present we cannot leave Almeria province for any purpose other than the essential or force majeure reasons stipulated, as Murcia has closed its regional border to the North and the province of Granada has closed its border to the South of us.

Hello everyone

I'm trying to find a 12 month rental contract to support a residency application but so far most  seem to only offer 11 month contracts.  Has anyone successfully used this temporary 11 month contract to full fill a residency application requirement?  I don't feel confident that it ...

...demonstrates I am making my permanent home in Spain and don't want to mess up my application so close to the end of the transition period.

Many thanks for any advice

Claire

We only have  6 month rental but have already got our Paddington on the back of this. Do we need a 12 mo th rental for residencia even tho we have our Padron?

Simple answer. No.  Once you have your Certificado de Empadronamiento, that is all you require for Residencia as far as proof of residence goes
