It seems that wherever we decide to live our dream or for a stress free healthier way of life, there are always going to be hurdles that are either existing or put in our path that’s life. Ive always wanted to be able to just disappear off to an apartment or villa in Spain. I love the “joie de vivre” that the Spanish have although i also know that post Franco it is still very bureaucratic. Life is short and we should find the way that gives us most of what we want. Perfection doesn’t exist.

Thank you all for your honest replies

You’ll know where it is! It will make you a little scared but excited at the same time.

lady who spent all here monies setting up a Donkey sanctuary in Spain over many years, has now got to give up her land, her passion and return to the UK as she missed the boat and now falls under the 90 day rule, because red tape in many aspects has taken so long.  And the donkeys, well who knows what will happen to them, do the Spanish care

Not sure if this is the girl in Mijas area?? If so, the news bulletin I saw said that she'd worked there since January 2021 and her 90 days were nearly up. Nothing about her setting up the sanctuary... Anne Fernandez from Brexpats in Spain was interviewed too?
