Hi 

I have an Irish passport and wish to travel around Spain for a few months what is the maximum length of time I can stay in a year

you are a EU citizen with an Irish passport so come and go as often as you wish. but watch out for the tax residency laws if you stay here for too long.

You’re actually supposed to register as resident if you remain longer than 90 days - many don’t bother because it is at worst an administrative offence.

Stay longer than 183 days though and you are considered tax resident in Spain …
