I wonder what the significance of a poor review is in this circumstance. IMHO the only reason to buy the expensive PCR test is so that you can receive a code to put on your locator form and make your trip. Once you have done that, everything else is irrelevant. If you actually want to test yourself then you can use a free and immediate rapid flow test.

What you say is true ...although 1.5 stars from 5 from 1500 reviewers doesn't sound great...sooner it moves to a simple antigen test the better 👍

I recently went to the U.K. and used Expert Medicals for my day 2 test. I posted it straight off using the Royal Mail priority mailbox (there’s a list on the website). However, I never received the results. I did lateral flow tests whilst in the U.K. These were provided by the NHS/Government.

I used Expert Medicals for my Day 2 test. I posted the test on Sat 2 at 3pm having arrived in UK on the Thursday at 11.30 pm. I received the negative test result by email at 9am Wednesday 6th.

£28 well spent.

I used this company when I flew to the UK 2 weeks ago. The test kit never arrived and, despite numerous emails and telephone calls, I have had no response from 'Expert Medicals' . I have effectively paid £28 just for a code to put on my locator form!!

Interestingly the antigen test is recommended if you’ve had COVID as the full pcr test can show positives for up to 90 days

Looks like Expert Medicals are under investigation by the Government!
